This, so far, has been the best part of the holiday season: Lila visiting Santa! Her vet had a Christmas party for the animals. We even came away with a loot bag full of doggie treats.
The rest of the seasonal stuff has been strange. So much traffic on the icy roads, racing around for last minute gifts. The ice has kept us homebound for a few days but it does seem to be melting somewhat. The roads weren’t too bad today. We’ve been lucky so far; an early winter, but not as bad as in other parts of Canada.
