It seems the storm did more than just clear my head. It affected my work. The last few days have brought a clarity into my working process that was lacking for the past month or so. Granted I’ve been busy with lots of company and activities, mainly pleasurable, around the wedding. And maybe not having much studio time has been a fertile breeding ground for precision. I often find when I have been away from something I’ve usually been doing, like playing the piano or painting, that I come back with a surprising freshness.
The only problem here is that the photographs I had taken a couple of weeks ago will now need to be retaken. The work has changed considerably. All for the better.
