Over the river and out of the woods

The busy weekend has past, the ferry crossed the river. LaHave on Saturday and Jo Beale Gallery on Sunday. As well, I drove the work down to LaHave on Friday to hang it. Altogether a great experience. And the exhibits looked good.

I found I felt the post-exhibit letdown to be more than usual. I am not used to a gap in my days. There’s always something to do. I promised myself I wouldn’t paint for at least a week. But I don’t think that is going to happen. I primed a few canvases this morning and expect to be back at it by Friday. Too bad!
