Last Saturday, Bruce Campbell, director of the St. Francis Xavier University Art Gallery, picked up the work for my exhibit there. Most of my red paintings, some orange, one hot pink are now in Antigonish for the show opening 6 November. The opening reception is at 7 pm on Thursday, the 4th.
I was hoping the departed paintings would leave a dent in my studio space, but not so. It’s still crowded. So I am being taking tired paintings off stretchers so I can starting over on some, start fresh.
