To publicize the exhibition, the gallery made a banner for the front of the building. They had printed a copy of a painting of mine for the ground and then put the names of the artists on top of that. It is a very successful way of advertising.
Before the opening reception, we went across the street to an amazing restaurant for brunch. The chef is a twenty-five year old Russian immigrant of exceptional talent.
After the reception a fair size group of us went back for dinner. Most Danes speak some English so the conversation was lively and the food superb.
And then dessert, figs dipped in chocolate with a raspberry sauce
Thora began wondering about my obsession about taking photos of the food. It makes a good way to remember the taste, the place and the presentation. Food is such a universal form of communication. Not only is it a need but also an aesthetic pleasure.
