In my mind

Over the past few weeks, I’ve written lots of brilliant blog entries. In my head, that is. None of them have come to paper; sorry about that. I have just been busy painting paintings, painting walls, rearranging furniture (not something I do often), gardening, teaching and otherwise, taking on too much.

I moved my desk upstairs so nw I can enjoy the newly painted light yellow-green room that started the whole house renovation. I have a spectacular view of the lake from the window and have a more spacious living room sitting area. But mostly, I’ll be glad when the whole thing is done and I don’t have to think about it anymore. I like to think I am not much for redecorating, but in truth, I usually more before it would come up. I’ve been here seventeen years and am just changing the color of my living room walls for the first time.

We’ve had so much rain and dreary weather lately I didn’t notice my rhodis were about to bloom. After a few very hot days, the all came out at once. Usually they take turns. I just hope summer doesn’t go by as quickly as right now it feels it will.

I leave Wednesday for four days to teach at the Direct Perception Workshop in Tatamagouche. It’s the same program as last August, only the second time around. I’ll probably have a lot to say about that next week.
