Those days are over. We did have some lovely times at the Beach. I’d throw small stones in the water and Lila would try to retrieve them. Often losing the stone to the waves which wouldn’t stop coming in to take the pebbles back into the water. When she did get the stone, she was so proud. But now that summer is coming on us, no dogs are allowed off lead in Provincial Parks. And I’ve been warned twice. Too bad. It was so liberating for both of us.
