Ever since I saw a cayote on the road a couple of months ago, I haven’t wanted to go into the woods alone. I’ve missed it dearly. I used to take Lila for a long walk by the brook several times a week. A couple of days ago a friend, her dog, Lila and I hit the trail. It was a great pleasure. The bears and the cayotes seem to have taken a rest from this neighborhood for the past three weeks: no sitings. That’s good. Meanwhile I’ve had the lake to play in.
