A few more thoughts

I met some interesting people on the walking tour. From all over. From Australia, San Francisco, even a New Yorker living on Oslo for over forty years. In general I’d say, the Danes and Norwegians have been very helpful and friendly when I’ve asked for help but I don’t find the overwhelming friendliness I am used to back home. There a walk down the road is a continual gesture of hello, even if I don’t know the person. Here it is more like New York. Friendly when approached, yet while maintaining respect for personal space. That may be a function of a northern, big city. An interesting contrast for me.
